    Munch Lunch Coolers Review

Growing up in South Africa, it was hot. It didn’t matter what time of year it was; the highs in summer were upward of 33 degrees and even in winter the lows stayed around 21 degrees. So school lunchtime for us was pretty much the same for everyone around us – sandwiches, fruit & if you were lucky a baked sweet treat. Being Indian, the sandwiches almost always had curry in them. Fast forward 20 years, and I now have my own kids. Lunchtimes in New Zealand seem to be very different from what I’ve seen online. No more is it just basic sandwiches and fruit. A kids lunchbox now seems…

    April Fools Day Kid-Friendly Pranks

Let’s face it, becoming an adult isn’t everything you thought it would be. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have bubblegum ice cream and chocolate for every meal, I don’t spend my days playing games, riding my bike everywhere or reading every book I could get my hands on.  Unfortunately, when you do actually become an adult most of what you thought you’d do and become, may not be what you actually do or become.  Society expects you to act like every adult before you, and around you, does. Unless, it’s April Fools Day! Lol. Sure, dad’s can get away with acting like one of the kids most…

    Easter Chocolate Bark Recipe

The best part of the beginning of every year is how much chocolate I get to eat 😛  First its Valentine’s Day, then my birthday and then EASTER! And, who doesn’t love Easter chocolate! Speckled eggs, marshmallow eggs, chocolate bunnies.  These days the sales for Easter chocolate seem to start earlier & earlier, which is great for a chocoholic like me 😛 This is a great recipe to use up any “left-over” chocolate eggs (haha, yeah I know right? left-over?).   Ingredients: 1 King Size block Whittaker’s White Chocolate half cup of speckled eggs half cup of M&M speckled eggs rainbow sprinkles   Method: Pop 3/4 of the block of…
